Indigo Gothic Art is a movement in pictural art which specific habit is the vivid reflection of sensuality and deep dramatic nature of the characters in the plots — travesty-actors of cabaret theatre in «gothic» style.

Impressionistic manner of painting in Tara's works gives a new vision of the gay culture to the spectators. The realistic atmosphere of travesty theatre reduced to an absurdity, psychological breakdown and complicated, almost frustrated emotions possess the actors both on the stage and behind the curtains.
